Dogs Looking for Homes

WINNIE (One on Way) DoB: 17th August 2020 Arrived: March 2026 Winnie is a smaller, calmer girl who enjoys receiving lots of fuss and cuddles. She often has a playful 5 minutes followed by a nap and can be a bit timid initially when in new situations but soon comes out of her shell. Winnie is a very affectionate girl who would make a great companion.

BO (Kanturk Mills) DoB: 21st August 2021 Arrived: November 2025 Bo is an easy going, gentle natured boy who walks nicely on the lead when out and about with volunteers. He loves receiving any sort of attention and is an extremely affectionate boy who would be happy with cuddles all day and night. Bo is confident in new situations and when meeting new people – he doesn’t seem to let anything phase him when out on his adventures. He really would make a great companion for someone.

ROSIE (Ross Panama) DoB: 4th April 2022 Arrived: March 2026 Rosie is a smaller, sweet girl. She can be a bit nervous/ wary at times so for this reason she would be best suited to a quieter household. When out with volunteers Rosie is a pleasure to walk, she is very easy going. Rosie needs someone who will help her confidence grow.

ABBY (Outback Abigail) DoB: 21st June 2021 Arrived: March 2026 Abby is a smaller, gentle girl who loves her cuddles and playtime. She is friendly with people and dogs and is a happy girl when out and about on walks. Abby is a sweet natured girl who would make someone a great companion. She loves to be snuggled up especially on the colder days.

SPIKE (Yassoo Spike) DoB: 18th September 2018 Arrived: August 2025 Spike is quite a reserved boy who doesn’t want for a lot. He enjoys sleeping all day followed by a bit more sleeping! He is an easy going boy who just plods along on his walks taking in the scenery. Spike enjoys chasing tennis balls, going for walks and cuddles. He loves to be snuggled up especially on a colder day.

KASPER (Geneva Chalky) DoB: 25th May 2022 Arrived: March 2026 Kasper is a very friendly boy always happy to see/ meet new people. He enjoys going out for his adventures and volunteers report that he walks nicely when out and about, often taking in all of his surroundings. Kasper would make a great addition to someone’s home.

SALLY (Dal Princess) DoB: 6th June 2022 Arrived: February 2026 Sally is a calmer, easy going girl who loves nothing more then being around people. Volunteers report that she walks nicely when out and about on her adventures. She would make a great companion for someone wanting infinite cuddles! Sally appears confident in new situations/ meeting new people.

PEGGY (Bono Free) DoB: 1st August 2021 Arrived: December 2025 Peggy appears to be confident but she is a bit of a worrier with new people and situations. Although she can initially be shy towards people, after some time she relaxes. She can be an excitable girl and loves to play.

JACK (Kanturk Fuisce) DoB: 14th September 2022 Arrived: April 2026 As Jack is newly arrived we don’t know much about him yet but will update as soon as we can. If you would like to meet him in the meantime please contact the kennels.

FLO (Chance Flourish) DoB: 20th December 2020 Arrived: February 2026 Flo is a sweet natured, easy going girl who loves nothing more then cuddles followed by even more cuddles! Volunteers report Flo to walk extremely nicely when out and about, She enjoys going for walks and saying hello to everyone while out and she loves human attention, Flo would make a great companion for somebody looking for infinite cuddles.

SUNNY (Downeaton Songni) DoB: 20th July 2022 Arrived: February 2026 Sunny is a bigger, strong willed boy, He loves going out for walks with volunteers who report him to be an easy boy to walk. Sunny loves cuddles, playing and napping. He loves meeting other dogs and people whilst he is out and is quite a sociable boy.

IGGY (Ignition) DoB: 20th August 2021 Arrived: July 2025 Iggy is an extremely wary girl, she is scared of new people and situations. She does come around after a while, it just takes her time to feel comfortable. When Iggy settles she can be very boisterous and playful. She loves other dogs (seems to look to them for confidence), however another dog in the household is not essential. Iggy really would make someone a great companion once she got to know them.

STEVE (Slaheny Sandy) DoB: 2nd June 2019 Arrived: January 2026 Steve is a bold character and confident in new situations, He seems to take everything in his stride and loves nothing more then attention and cuddles which he’d have all day if it was possible. He loves to be involved in everything he possibly can and will always find a way to grab your attention.

CHARLIE (Hollyoak Chilli) DoB: 17th June 2022 Arrived: January 2026 Charlie is a cheeky girl and she loves to be involved in everything you are doing. She has a special love for cuddles and playing with fluffy toys – although they don’t last long! Charlie is confident in new situations and loves nothing more then having your full attention.

BENNY (Boardwalk Benny) DoB: 28th June 2020 Arrived: January 2026 Benny is an outgoing boy and doesn’t seem to let anything faze him. He appears to be confident in new situations and when meeting new people. Benny enjoys going for walks with volunteers who report he is quite enthusiastic to be out and about. He is a character who is usually full of beans and he would make a great companion/ source of entertainment for someone!

BAXTER (Do It Bill) DoB: 13th March 2021 Arrived: December 2025 As Baxter is new to the kennels we don’t know much about him yet but will update as soon as we can.

PERCY (Thornhill Percy) DoB: 1st October 2020 Arrived: December 2025 Percy is a shy boy who usually takes a few meets to warm up to you. He can get quite anxious when in larger groups of people so for this reason he would be better suited to a quieter household. Percy walks proudly when out and about, often on a mission only he knows about. He is a big fan of cuddles and getting the much deserved attention.

HARRY (Boomerang Henry) DoB Sept 2018 Arrived November 2024 Harry is a lovely boy but in many ways not your typical greyhound! Harry has had a number of homes due to his challenging behavior. He now needs a forever home where he will be the only dog, and with no young children. If you feel you could be Harry’s special person able to meet his challenges please talk to Brian or Amber at the kennels on 07783 367032 to discuss his background and if he would be right for you.

MARVIN (Russmur Mountain) DoB: 19th May 2019 Arrived: March 2026 Marvin is quite the character, he loves going out for walks and when out and about enjoys taking in all of the smells and sights. He can be quite an excitable boy, often on a mission to get on his walk. Marvin enjoys playtime and cuddles.
