Dogs Looking for Homes

LAURA (Insane Laura) DoB: 1st December 2020 Arrived: February 2026 Laura is a sweet little girl who would sit on your lap all day for cuddles if she was small enough. She loves snuggling up to her kennel mate on a daily basis. Laura is confident when going out with volunteers who report that she is good on the lead when walking. She seems to take everything in her stride and her favourite thing is cuddles.

PEGGY (Bono Free) DoB: 1st August 2021 Arrived: December 2025 Peggy appears to be confident but she is a bit of a worrier with new people and situations. Although she can initially be shy towards people, after some time she relaxes. She can be an excitable girl and loves to play.

JOCK (Franco Jock) DoB: 14th December 2021 Arrived: February 2026 Jock is an energetic, bouncy boy who loves going out for walks with volunteers. He is very affectionate often jumping up for cuddles. Jock would suit a more active home as he enjoys being on the move. He is a funny character who just wants all of the fuss and cuddles especially after a good walk.

SALLY (Dal Princess) DoB: 6th June 2022 Arrived: February 2026 Sally is a calmer, easy going girl who loves nothing more then being around people. Volunteers report that she walks nicely when out and about on her adventures. She would make a great companion for someone wanting infinite cuddles! Sally appears confident in new situations/ meeting new people.

SHAUNE (Droopys Commute) DoB: 1st August 2022 Arrived: January 2026 Shaune is a big cuddly boy and he loves nothing more then to shower you with kisses. He seems to be an outgoing boy who is confident in new situations/ with new people. Shaune walks nicely on the lead and he is an easy going boy who has a special love for a fuss. He would make someone a great companion.

CHARLIE (Hollyoak Chilli) DoB: 17th June 2022 Arrived: January 2026 Charlie is a cheeky girl and she loves to be involved in everything you are doing. She has a special love for cuddles and playing with fluffy toys – although they don’t last long! Charlie is confident in new situations and loves nothing more then having your full attention.

FLO (Chance Flourish) DoB: 20th July 2020 Arrived: February 2026 As Flo has just arrived we don’t know anything about her yet but if you would like to meet her or know more please contact the kennels.

SUNNY (Downeaton Songi) DoB: 20th July 2020 Arrived: February 2026 As Sunny has just arrived we don’t know anything about him yet but if you would like to meet him or know more please contact the kennels.

IGGY (Ignition) DoB: 20th August 2021 Arrived: July 2025 Iggy is an extremely wary girl, she is scared of new people and situations. She does come around after a while, it just takes her time to feel comfortable. When Iggy settles she can be very boisterous and playful. She loves other dogs (seems to look to them for confidence), however another dog in the household is not essential. Iggy really would make someone a great companion once she got to know them.

STEVE (Slaheny Sandy) DoB: 2nd June 2019 Arrived: January 2026 Steve is a bold character and confident in new situations, He seems to take everything in his stride and loves nothing more then attention and cuddles which he’d have all day if it was possible. He loves to be involved in everything he possibly can and will always find a way to grab your attention.

ANNA (Ballydorgan Anna) DoB: 9th September 2020 Arrived: February 2026 Anna is a calmer, quieter girl who has a special love for her food. She walks nicely on the lead when out and about and appears to be quite confident in new situations and when meeting new people. She can be playful but quickly turns playtime into cuddle time. Anna would make a great companion for someone.

BAXTER (Do It Bill) DoB: 13th March 2021 Arrived: December 2025 As Baxter is new to the kennels we don’t know much about him yet but will update as soon as we can.

PERCY (Thornhill Percy) DoB: 1st October 2020 Arrived: December 2025 Percy is scared of new people and situations and takes a bit of time, (maybe a few meets), before he feels comfortable with new people. He walks nicely when out and about until something spooks him and will need a home that can help his confidence grow. He is a big fan of cuddles and getting the much deserved attention.

SPIKE (Yassoo Spike) DoB: 18th September 2018 Arrived: August 2025 Spike is quite a reserved boy who doesn’t want for a lot. He enjoys sleeping all day followed by a bit more sleeping! He is an easy going boy who just plods along on his walks taking in the scenery. Spike enjoys chasing tennis balls, going for walks and cuddles. He loves to be snuggled up especially on a colder day.

HARRY (Boomerang Henry) DoB Sept 2018 Arrived November 2024 Harry is a lovely boy but in many ways not your typical greyhound! Harry has had a number of homes due to his challenging behavior. He now needs a forever home where he will be the only dog, and with no young children. If you feel you could be Harry’s special person able to meet his challenges please talk to Brian or Amber at the kennels on 07783 367032 to discuss his background and if he would be right for you.

BARNEY (Snowdon Bill) DoB: 5th May 2023 Arrived: November 2025 Barney is a character, often hopping around waiting for his next adventure and he likes to live life in the fast lane! Although he can be strong on the lead initially, he does calm down after a short while when out and about.

BENNY (Boardwalk Benny) DoB: 28th June 2020 Arrived: January 2026 Benny is an outgoing boy and doesn’t seem to let anything faze him. He appears to be confident in new situations and when meeting new people. Benny enjoys going for walks with volunteers who report he is quite enthusiastic to be out and about. He is a character who is usually full of beans and he would make a great companion/ source of entertainment for someone!

BO (Kanturk Mills) DoB: 21st August 2021 Arrived: October 2025 Bo is a gentle boy who doesn’t want for much other than lots of attention and cuddles. When out and about with volunteers he walks nicely on the lead and is fairly confident in new situations/meeting new people. He will make a great companion for someone.

BILLY (Holiday Rascal) DoB: 19th September 2020 Arrived: October 2025 Billy is a slightly more lively boy and he loves going out for walks with volunteers. He can be strong on the lead initially but does calm down after a short while- he is always up for an adventure. He is a very affectionate and playful boy, his favourite game to play is fetch which he is pretty good at!
